His Butler, LOL It Didn't Happen

So I just read that Kuroshitsuji has been green-lit for a second season. Everyone's reaction? "LOL WHUT?" If you watched Kuroshitsuji all the way through you would know a second season would be almost impossible if they plan to follow the anime version. It ended... sigh... I won't go into spoilers... just watch it all, alright? Now, there are a few things that make a second season possible... They can either A) make it about stories that happened inbetween everything in the first season (using the stuff they didn't use from the manga), thus making it a sort of "prequel" almost. Or B) completely start over and just follow the manga completely. I'm alittle more for the "start over" rather than the "inbetween prequel". All the anime original episodes in the first one... they weren't so great. Starting over would at least mean no Angela (Yay!) but, would also mean no Drossel (Boo...). I never understood why I didn't like Angela's character but was completely fine with Ash.

It's too bad they made the anime adaption so soon. They probably could have avoided going into the anime original stuff if they had just waited a while. Heck, maybe what they should have done was just make a series of OVAs. One OVA with episodes of the beginning stuff and then the next one would be the "Jack the Ripper arc", then an OVA on the "Indian arc" and so on.

Either way, I wasn't really begging for more Kuroshitsuji anime (it would be nice if the chapters weren't released so far apart). I am interested to see how this turns out though.

Been awhile! Oh hey, Fanime!

Picture I took at Fanime 09. One of my favorite shots.
Hey! It's been awhile! Sorry about just kind of disappearing. Like I said earlier, I got a job. They've been making me work a lot of closing shifts so I've been a little more tired then normal. I was also busy getting ready and going to Fanime 2009! It was my first time going and man, I can't wait to go again. Will definitely have more costumes next time instead of just 2. I took a ton of pictures. All the pictures I took can be viewed here. I enjoyed watching the cosplay masquerade greatly. I loved how during the Pokemon skit everyone started singing along. And they showed that new episode of Haruhi while the judges were figuring out the winners! It didn't mean much to my sister but it was a big deal for me. XD Maybe it's just me but the animation style seems slightly different.

I bought some artbooks there and started reading manga again. That's got me wanting to draw a lot more again. Yay inspiration! Actually, quite a few things I got were Code Geass related... (one of which I will be sure to share photos of soon)

So, I'll try to get back into updating this thing. Gonna try catching up on the blogs I used to read... Gonna try to get back to drawing more too... And figure photo shoots! ...I have a lot of things to catch up on. 'XD So yeah, I'm alive and will try to be more active on here and other sites. To make up for disappearing, here's some of my other favorites shots.

What I Saw This Week 1

I think I'll start a new series of posts, "What I Saw This Week". It'll just be either a drawing or a photo of something interesting I saw that week. Maybe even more than one picture! So for the first one, is this... I was sitting at the Starbucks in Target (yeah, they are everywhere) and I see a man walking out of the store with a bright green parrot just sitting on his shoulder. The only reasons I could think of why he had it were a)he was not wearing green and it was St. Patrick's Day so he just grabbed his pet parrot or b) he is really a pirate on his day off.

Well, I'll be sure to post more interesting things for this feature but for now, stare in awe at the bearded man and his parrot.

Drawing, drawing and more drawing

Thought I would do a small art post today. Been trying to work a lot more on my drawing, there's still so much I need to improve on (especially coloring). The picture up there is actually what I'm working on now. Just for fun, can you guess who that is? Might be pretty easy to guess if you're a anime fan. I'll be posting the finished version on my dA account so, keep an eye out for it?

Introducing Aia Pria!

Hello world! I'm back! Sorry for not posting in a long time. Had to get somethings done. But now I am back and will (hopefully) have a lot more to post about this year! So, as you can see, lala-larein has a wonderful new and improved mascot!

Introducing Aia Pria! She's a singer/dancer who loves to... well, sing and dance. Aia is pretty happy most of the time but has a bad habit of being fairly blunt with people. Her favorite food is potatoes. She likes to spend her free time playing video games.

I hope you all like her! You'll be seeing a lot of her in the future. So, I'll be sure to post maybe at least once a week here. I'll still be doing figure and convention posts and I'll try to do more art related posts too. Look forward to it!
